Formed in the early 90's One-Eyed Jack championed the free-form improvisational sound that defined bands such as the Grateful Dead and the Allman Brothers.
It all started with Gary Gallagher and Mike Pignotti, creating a trippy psychedelic garage band from Rutherford, NJ.
Soon to follow One-Eyed Jack started taking on steam with the local NJ and N.Y.C. crowd to establish itself as a diversified act. In the late 90's with the addition of Joe Boris on guitar and vocals, One-Eyed Jack took on more original material including ballads and the addition of dual guitar solos in their material. The dual guitar sound showcased more Latin and southern fried aspects of the bands talents. Later on, the addition of a percussionist tied the bow on One-Eyed Jack's classic sound.
